Sandra: Hi, I grew up at 3973 Goodland Ave roughly 1950 through 1966. The old Spanish style house corner of Ventura and Fairway was part of this development I think. It was occupied in my childhood by the former concert pianist Winifred Byrd. I was taking lessons in that house from age of 4. Beautiful blue Talavera tile in kitchen and bathroom. Dark wood paneling, elaborate Christmas recitals each year:) There is at least one more house that I know of up on Sunswept Dr but has been completely remodeled. I can attest to the fact that everywhere you dug a hole in my back yard you would find old golf balls, but that doesn’t prove they actually played golf:) Have tons of memories from that area and time, if you are interested:) @ 09/20/2023 11:19am
